About The Plenary at MCEC
The Plenary is the centrepiece space of the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) at South Wharf. It hosts conferences, gala dinners, award ceremonies, and full-scale stage productions including concerts and live entertainment. The venue opened as part of the Convention Centre in 2009 and was the first convention centre in the world to receive a 6-Star Green Star environmental rating.
